I don't know what I was thinking when I bought this. We were at Nebraska Furniture Mart and the salesman suggested this piece of poop.

I usually research a ton before I purchase an expensive product... and if I would have, I wouldn't be stuck with this dish"washer". Just stay away please.

Pure crap. Don't buy it
I have owned this Electrolux dishwasher for several years and I can't wait for it to completely break so I can replace it. It no longer cleans very well. Is not as quiet as it once was. Had to replace a filter component that broke within 2 years and not covered by warranty. The roller assembly is now coming apart when I slide the top shelf out. Replacement part is less than $25 but I have to completely remove the dishwasher to replace them. The door squeaks when you open and close it. Just an overpriced piece of junk. Buy something else.

LEMON - BEWARE
Do not buy this dishwasher. I had it for almost 3 years and then it came up with the error code that a leak was detected. 10 service calls, 2 different technicians later, it's still leaks. Electrolux knows it but won't let you know until you have the problem. Then there's a "leak kit" that is supposed to fix this model. It doesn't. The leak is somewhere they can't find and the technicians don't want to waste their time trying to find it. Electrolux offers a "rebate" to get a new unit. Who wants the same bad product that they don't stand behind? I've wasted lots of time with service calls and washing dishes. I'm done with Electrolux. Look at all the service issues on-line for this item. I'm not the only one with issues.

Worst brand of dishwasher ever
I have had whirlpool, ge, frigidaire and kenmore dishwashers. All outperform fisher paykel and also were much less. Run fast away from this brand. There are few service technicians, and the drawers have multiple problems with durability and function. Electronics lock the drawer often, the drawers flood and otherwise malfunction. The dishwasher works for awhile and then begins to have all sorts of problems. The company responded to my bbb complaint by offering a new machine at 100 dollars off. Big deal! I had over $400 in repairs and it still didn't work. No repair was ever conducted on my machine to get it to operate! Run fast to any dishwasher but this one. Not worth the money at all.

The worst dishwasher ever
If you want to have to prewash all your dishes buy this dishwasher. The dishes come out sometimes dirtier than when you put them in. My girlfriend won't even use it. The drawers flood, and then they smell bad. This is the worst dishwasher I have ever had. Don't waste your money.

Control Panel Too Sensitive and Doesn't Dry Thoroughly
The control panel is a flat, touch screen type system rather than a "push button" system. The "buttons" are outlined on the panel so you know where to touch it to activate the cycle you want, but they're not actually buttons. It's a flat control panel and it is ultra sensitive. It takes no pressure whatsoever to activate it. If anyone gets near it and inadvertently brushes up against it, one of the "buttons" gets activated. In the middle of a cycle, the "cancel/drain" designated area of the control panel accidentally got touched by someone at the sink beside it and the machine did exactly that. It canceled the current cycle and drained the water and shut off. I had to start it all over, which wasted time, water and energy. It's also super easy to touch the control panel without meaning to if you don't keep your thumb out of the way when you open the door. I've only had it for 4 days and I can't even count how many times the machine has reacted...

Mixed feelings
I have owned this unit for 6 months. My prior dishwasher was a name brand that washed well for about 10 years but was very, very loud. So when it was replacement time, my desires were for a quiet dishwasher.
The GOOD: This unit is very quiet. Even in a quiet room I have to be close to the unit to actually hear that it is running. The unit has an internal filter that needs to be hand cleaned; I find that this is acceptable.
The NOT SO GOOD: The literature shows fully packed racks of dishes, but I now notice that all the dishes illustrated are very flat. The rack design is very poor for the type of dishes that I use; deep bowls and larger glasses. None of my dishes fit securely into the racks. The rack bottoms are not flat and the tines all seem to be too close together and too tall. The silverware baskets are also strangely shaped and long cooking spoons fit poorly into the basket. I am not able to wash as many dishes in this unit as I was with my old unit. The unit...

Quiet, cleans well but small capacity
I bought this to replace an aging GE. Our house has an open floor plan design and the dishwasher is located about 7' feet away on the opposite side of bar from where we sit to watch TV. We always had to crank up the volume when running the dishwasher so we were looking for a quite one. The salesman said we would be able to stand next to it while it was running and not hear it. That is an exaggeration but the Bosch is definitely quiet and we don't have to crank up the volume on the TV when it's running. It also cleans well and unlike some other reviewers I've not had a problem with wet dishes except for plastic dishes and containers and it's no worse drying those than our old machine. I do use the recommended Jet rinse so I don't know how well it would dry without it.

Now for the negative stuff. I knew going in that the capacity would be smaller than our old dishwasher but I didn't think it would be as small as it was. It seems to have about half the capacity of our old...

AGGRAVATION!!
Caveat to anyone wishing to keep their AGGRAVATION level down: NEVER, EVER buy a Bosch appliance. This company does not stand behind their products, from Day#1, under-warranty, of ownership. 18 months ago, we bought their top-of-the-line dishwasher that performs worse than a bottom-line budget special. Bosch has refused, from the first day, to acknowledge any problems; going so far as to doctor their repair records, of which we have an un-doctored copy, to redact service techs' comments regarding non-performance of the product. It has been like dealing with a fly-by-night, street-corner hawker, who disappears after the sale is made. Each time we call to report that the machine is still not working properly, they ask us all the same questions again, tell us perhaps we do not know how to load the dishwasher, are using the wrong detergent, is it connected with a garbage disposal unit, etc.; none of which is true.
