Genuine OEM Replacement Part (GE Diswasher Handle/Latch)
This is an original OEM replacement handle/latch for my GE dishwasher. It installed in minutes and comes with a replacement door seal gasket...btw, which needs to be carefully installed and cut (minimally) for an exact/perfect fit. Also, prior to installing new gasket, I recommend cleaning any old residue/mold that may have developed in the door seal channel to insure a proper water-tight seal. The new seal also makes the door very tight and, hopefully soon, should conform as to make the dishwasher door more easily closed...right now it must be pushed rather firmly before the new latch "catches" securely. If you're looking for an OEM replacement part, look here to probably save over the manufacturer's website. I sure did!
I give only 4 stars because this latch is made of plastic and only time will truly tell if this replacement dishwasher handle endures.
