Most used thing in my kitchen
I bought this unit a mainly due to the sleek look, solid construction, and interesting features. It turned out to be by far the most used device in my kitchen. I'll never build or remodel a house without it. On a subsequent property, I installed a Whirlpool Microven, which would get about 3 stars - if the handle hadn't broken off twice.

If you've never used one of these types of units, imagine throwing a frozen steak into the unit, pressing 3 buttons, and coming back in 30 mins with a perfectly cooked steak.

Pros:
+ Very broad list of pre-programmed recipes
+ Great feature that let's you throw in a frozen food, and it will defrost then automatically cook it. Saves a lot of time back-and-forth.
+ Cooks steaks very well...best of these types of ovens.

Cons:
+ None

Speedy and Unique Oven/microwave
I purchased this range with the advantum 120 microwave oven. So far both items are wonderful. The selection of cooking options is good. I wanted a second oven for larger family gatherings. The oven part of the unit can do this. It heats a little slow thought. I probably should have gotten the 240 volt model and had the circuitry rewired for the voltage change. Another expense to consider. It will cook a rock hard frozen chicken breast and brown it in about 15 minutes on speed cook. A process of applying three separate cooking techniques at adjoining times. The food is good using this method, surprisingly so. If you can't find the exact recipe then pick something similar. It works.

Bad product, worse service and support
Bought this microwave from a distributor in my area, and the keypad shorted in a little more than a year. Nice coincidence that the warranty is for a year. GE's response is that I should pay $99 for a guy to show up, and then GE might cover half the cost of parts (but none of labor).

Terrible customer service for a very expensive model. Don't buy from a company that won't back up its products for more than a year.
