expensive, but perfect fit and function
We bought the top of the line big Bosch Nexus washer & dryer back in 2005. The washer alone cost over $1000. We bought it because it was very high quality and energy efficient. A few years later it started acting up. Loads aborted early without completing, refused to spin, intermittent problem. Googling the problem showed it was common. I bought the service manual, ran through diagnostics, which reported the motor or control board were bad. The motor (which is 3-phase) windings measured good so it had to be the board.
This replaces the entire motor control board, including the plastic housing. It is a perfect fit replacement for the OEM board. It not only fixed the problem, but it works better than the washer did when new, so it seems Bosch improved the logic to make it less sensitive to load balance.
