I just installed this unit yesterday. While the quality and everything under Asko's control appears to be fine, I only rated the dishwasher "2 Star." Why? Well, because I had to find out after buying and installing this unit that starting in 2012 our wonderful nanny state forced manufacturers of dishwashers to essentially eliminate the drying cycle using that heating type rod on the bottom inside of the dishwashing area. An Asko tech guy explained to me that new federal laws won't allow them. So the inside of my unit was wet because the dishes have to mostly air dry. Asko does have a very short, maybe 8" long heating element. But the tech guy said that it wasn't for the purpose of drying, it was for heating the water. It looks like the new federal laws have caused manufacturers of dishwasher to install little fans and do everything possible to make the dishes sort of air dry.
