Obviously the 1 and 2 year reviews are more important, but at 3 months it's going strong and we really like this dishwasher. We got this appliance through a mix-up; we'd ordered the MDB7749SAM, which arrived with a bent hinge. We returned it and were informed the MDB7749SAM was no longer available (as of Feb 2013) so the newer MDB7749SBM was substituted.
It's a fine machine, easily the best dishwasher we've owned to date. Installed it myself, was straightforward, no leaks (after a month of checking), good instructions on how to install. All hookups were reasonably easy to reach toward the front of the machine. The insulation around the machine is voluminous! Especially behind the apron. Which makes for an exceedingly quiet machine. Cleaning power is impressive. The instructions "persuaded" us to start using a liquid rinse product.
