We were promised that this Bosch dishwasher was not only quiet, but very good at cleaning. After we got it home and properly installed, I was impressed at how quiet the Bosch dishwasher really was. Sadly, I now know why the Bosh dishwasher is quiet: This Bosch dishwasher is quiet because it isn't getting anything clean! It didn't blast salad bits out of a salad bowl. Instead, it made them shiny and hard and with the uber heat cycle, doubtlessly sanitary as well. Chucks of rice resumed their former glory before they were boiled and goo left over from cutting a pie was left on a serving knife. Ewe. The new Bosch SHE43P22UC dishwasher didn't clean or dry dishes and its racks are such a bad design that I'm going to try and return it today and buy a different, not-Bosch dishwasher after two whole days of frustrating Bosch dishwasher ownership. If the shop won't take it back, this thing is going onto Craigs List.

I could have written the exact same review as the previous reviewer. We HATE this dishwasher and are thinking of cutting bait and taking a complete loss on the $599 we paid for it. He was smart enough to take quick action. We've lived with the pain beyond the return period. To summarize his accurate review. 1) Doesn't clean. 2) Leaves food either in tiny gritty pieces all over dishes, or just leaves them intact. 3) Bakes food onto dishes with a cement-like force. 4) Utterly impossible racks, can't get anything into them. I would also add that the cycles are impossibly long and there is no drip-dry function.
When we try to clean out the useless filter, there is nothing in there (because it's all over the plates!), or there is food clogging the jets that is impossible to get out. I had to reconfigure a paperclip to remove tiny pieces of food that had clogged all the jets. We feel too guilty putting this onto Craigslist and leaving this problem for someone else to get screwed...
