Worked great 3 times, then wouldn't latch...swell...great xmas present for my mom so far...

Then I called Kit Aid customer service to set up an in warranty service appointment. The local company that does the work called me back saying that Kit Aid schedules appointments without knowing when their service companies are actually available and would not be able to make it out until days later.

I called Kit Aid back and explained the situation, but all they kept doing was apologizing and insisting that the original appointment was still showing in their computer. I asked them to reschedule the appointment with another company that could actually make it at the original appointment time, but they said that none of their other service companies were available.

Here is some business advice Kit Aid:

1)When you frustrate a customer with poor service from the get go, you have not only lost a repeat customer, but you have lost many other potential...

Serious Design Flaw
The dishwasher exhaust destroys the digital control panel. Kitchenaid claims it is unaware of the problem...that despite similar bad reviews here and elsewhere and a redesign of its more current models. Kitchenaid did not offer any support with our repair and we will no longer be specifying their products.

KitchenAid = Poor quality and horrible customer service
KitchenAid = Poor quality and horrible customer service.

We have a KitchenAid dishwasher (KUDC10FXSS5) that we purchased 3/18/12. The control panel failed and we had been waiting for parts for a month because of back order. Part comes in and KitchenAid sent wrong color. Now, it will be another month to get the correct color (if they can actually get it correct this time) and KitchenAid is unwilling to do anything other than say waiting for 2 months is within their standard. $800 and not functioning for 2 out of the first 7 months is not an acceptable response to me.

I'm not the only one with this issue based on some online searching. Speak up and force KitchenAid to stand behind their expensive products. State Appliance Lemon Laws need to enacted in all States to protect consumers from big corporations not willing to value their customers. Any lawyers out there want an easy class action lawsuit???
